We hold very high standards of behaviour as we believe that good behaviour has a direct impact on pupils’ learning.
We understand that some children may need support with managing their behaviours, and where this is the case, we will deal with each instance in accordance with our Behavioural Policy and ensure each pupil is treated fairly and equally.
We, of course, want to celebrate all good behaviour, and we have a rewards scheme in place for those pupils who go above and beyond to exhibit good behaviour and an outstanding commitment to their work and school life.
We offer celebration assemblies which families are invited to, VIP (very important pupils) as well as a range of other rewards for our children.
We implement a clear behaviour policy and are very proud of the behaviour and attitudes of our pupils. We operate an online system (Class Dojo) which lets staff reward pupils for good behaviour and parents see a detailed analysis of achievements in school.
As humans, we can occasionally slip up in terms of our behaviour and our system helps our pupils to quickly turn around their behaviour and put things right. However, if any child is persistently having behaviour difficulties, the headteacher will consult parents in order to discuss the difficulties and to find a way of moving forwards.
Physical violence and bullying is not tolerated under any circumstances and is dealt with immediately
