Pupil Feedback
2020 - 2021
Unfortunately, here was no space for children to comment directly on the survey in 2020 - 2021.
2021 - 2022
Positive feedback: includes the ability to swap playgrounds, opportunities and teachers, the school library, learning, seeing friends, OWL, art class, doing sports and having fun, and Gold frames. Many children also mentioned that they have made good friends at the school and appreciate the friendliness of the people there.
Improvement Feedback: includes requests for more benches, swings, art supplies, whiteboard pens, glues, and better football goals. Some students also suggested changing the PE curriculum to include different sports or longer sessions, adding more lessons like art and DT to the normal school days, and having more equipment and activities to play with during break time.

Family Feedback (2022 - 2023)
It has been great to see so many families between appointments on Wednesday night and today, thank you for coming.
We had a total of 130 out of 139 eligible appointments booked and almost all families made it too.
We hope you are pleased with the information we provided. Please do not hesitate to contact staff if you’d like any further resources to support your child at home.
Feedback on how you have found the way we operate the events, the amount and quality of information given and comments are welcome below 👇
Year 4 families also received their envelope today - you will have the opportunity to book your meetings soon.
The next formal event will be annual reports which are sent at the end of the summer term, though you will of course be able to take part in the next express afternoons and can contact staff to learn more, ask how you can support or for copies of any formal test outcomes before then.
Families told us they aren’t always sure how to help children at home…
You can help your children at home by;
- Completing home learning (handwriting, KIRFs and spelling every week)
- Reading their “learn to read” book with them, asking questions to check for understanding as well as their fluency.
- You can read to them their “love to read” book to help them hear intonation, speed and passion.
- There are learning materials available online for all children using the information in the back of planners.
- Children in Year 6 have formal practice excercises set by Mr Cooke frequently.
- Using Times Table rockstars to increase speed and fluency of tables knowledge before the national test in a few months (Year 4, but it’s never to early to start, or late to practice!)
- Learn lines for upcoming assemblies/productions
- Get ready for the Science Fair
- Get Ready for World Book Day
Have a lovely weekend,
^MrM
